This superb car Type B Voiture Legere was built to order number 2838 and sold on 20th October 1902 to Panhard et Lavassor's Paris dealer Monsieur Lamberjack. The car, which is to original factory specifications in all respects (including its original Krebs carburettor) has the very real benefit of a four speed gearbox mated to its 2.4 litre engine. The very handsome double phaeton coachwork is believed to be by Labourdette. Entry to the rear seats is by means of a tilting front passenger seat and the rear passengers are protected by a leather covered cape cart hood. As well as being an early Brighton Run starter which gives you a have a more relaxing run out of Hyde Park, the car (which has many successful runs to its credit) has consistently been among the early finishers at Brighton. Its originality, quality, style, history and performance make it a very very desireable car which will appeal to those who only want the best!
